The Serralves Neighborhood
Everything you need to know about the neighborhood where you will stay.

Tânger Suite is located in one of the most emblematic neighborhoods in the city of Porto, 200 meters from the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, next to the city's largest avenue (Avenida da Boavista) and just a 15-minute walk from the sea.
The Serralves heritage complex was classified as a “National Monument”.
The Serralves Museum and Park represent a valuable historical and cultural heritage, made up of the Museum, a project by architect Álvaro Siza, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 1992, the Casa de Serralves, a unique example of Art Deco architecture, and the Park, designed by French architect Jacques Gréber and awarded in 1997 with the "Henry Ford Prize for the Preservation of the Environment”.

The Serralves neighborhood is characterized by the architecture of large classic houses from the 19th century in dialogue with the architectural design of luxury condominiums recently developed by the most renowned Portuguese Architects such as Álvaro Siza and Eduardo Souto Moura.
With the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art as its central reference, the neighborhood is characterized by being a quiet residential area with a very good supply of public transport.
A few minutes' walk away there are supermarkets, laundry, restaurants and several reputable cafes and pastry shops.
Porto City Park, a favorite destination for runners and cyclists, is just 1 km from Tânger Suite.
